Philip Zimbardo (1933- ) is a professor of Stanford University. He lead the famous Stanford prison study in 1971, which sparked much controversy and had to be abandoned due to ethical concerns. Zimbardo is also renowned for research into the concept of time, and on the psychology of evil.
