Childhood disintegrative disorder, as described in ICD-10, is a pervasive developmental disorder seen in infants, in which a period of normal development is followed by a period in which the child loses acquired skills. Examples can include deterioration in social behaviours, language skills, self-care, toileting and motor skills. Little is known about the underlying causes of childhood disintegrative disorder.

In DSM-V, this disorder is placed under the diagnostic category of autism spectrum disorders.
